Masculine Happy Birthday

A new Double Trouble Challenge is up today! Let’s see cards for guys

So Thing 1 wants to see a masculine card and Thing 3 wants to see plaid or checker. Easy formula for a great card for the guy on your life!

Thing 2 has us partnering with Festive Friday and they have a fun list to choose from for elements on your card

If you use our Things challenges to do masculine and include plaid/checks, you’re pretty much there with it! Just choose one more, and you can enter their challenge too. I chose fishing!

It’s a great time to use this challenge to make a Father’s Day card! But for me, I needed a masculine birthday card so that’s what I went with. I never seem to have enough of those!

Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to head to Double Trouble for all the details to play along as well as the linkup

Feel Better!

Hello and happy Monday! I’m loving this beautiful May!

Double Trouble has a new challenge and we want to see you get “krafty”

As you see – Thing 1 wants to see kraft paper or a kraft bag on your project

And thing 3 wants to see you use an animal. I used these sweet critters from an MFT stamp set

I also love the dry embossing folder that I used on the kraft panel. It’s by Spellbinders.

Thing 2 has us teaming up with the Crafters Cafe challenge blog and their challenge is to use animals. So if you add one to your card, be sure to enter there as well!

Thank you for stopping by! Be sure to head to Double Trouble Challenge for more details to play along

Love

Today starts a new challenge at Double Trouble!

Thing 1 is having us get extra creative – include an element from a nursery rhyme!

I chose “pat-a-cake”

Thing 3 wants to see a heart, the word “heart” or the word “love”. The word “love” went perfect with the wedding cake!

I used some Stampin’ Up! stamps and dies from my stash and the colors were inspired by the Color Throwdown challenge

If you used Thing 3’s challenge on your card, you can also enter your card in our challenge partner’s link as well! Thing 2 has chosen Hearts Quest Challenge Blog

What nursery rhyme can you make an element on a card?

Thanks for stopping by to see my card based on the “Pat-a-cake” rhyme. Head to my Instagram to see the Reel of it coming together!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Isn’t she lovely

Hello! My card today is for the current Double Trouble Challenge going on now!

Thing 1 wants to see is celebrate a special lady with our cards!

I used stamps, dies, and stencil by Catherine Pooler. My idea and color combo is inspired by the challenge partner that Thing 2 has for us with Beautiful Blossoms challenge (which I’m new to!) and here is their mood board for inspiration!

I love the colors!

I embossed the image that has the outline to these flowers and it turned out so pretty

Thing 3 wants to see flowers! So if you followed the mood board and used flowers on your card for a special lady, be sure to link up with our challenge partner!

Thanks for stopping by today! We hope you will play along.

Just saying hello

Happy April!!! I LOVE the month of April. Today starts a new challenge over at Double Trouble and we’re seeing rainbows!

Thing 1 would like to see any rainbow scheme on your card. I chose a pastel palette for mine

Thing 3 has 2 sketches by Try Stampin On Tuesday she wants to see used. I chose this one!

I did some simple ink pad water coloring on these flowers by Catherine Pooler

I did them each a different color of the rainbow, pastel version of course

I don’t usually use purple much, but this time, it seemed the perfect color to accentuate with for the 4 rectangles of the background

Go to Double Trouble for more details and to link up your card! Can’t wait to see how you play along

Purrrrfect!

Hello stamping friends! Today starts a new challenge at Double Trouble and it’s perfect for all the pet-loving stampers out there!

Thing 1 wants to see you make a card that includes a cat or a dog. I realized I don’t have even one dog stamp! So cat it is

This cute set is by W+9

Thing 3 says to include a pun! Telling someone they are puuurrrfect is perfect for a cat card ha ha!

On a fun side note – we bought a new kitten that we will be getting in April! So excited!

Thing 2 has us partnering with the Use Your Stuff challenge – so if you play along with us and make a kitty or dog card, be sure to link it there too!

For a fun bonus, include a picture of your pet when you link up! Here’s our dog, Beskar. He’s like a little man sitting in the car going to pick up the kids everyday lol

Can’t wait to see your pet cards and pictures of your pets!

Thank you bouquet

Did someone say bouquet?! I love floral arrangements! I’ve done a few weddings and the latest was my own daughter’s in December. I love it!

So when I saw that the latest Inspired By challenge said bouquets, I was in!

I used Spellbinders Bouquets of Flowers dies to make my bouquet

The circle tag behind it is from Pinkfresh Studio and the embossing folder is an older one by Stampin Up! that I haven’t used in forever

Whether it’s with paper or with floral, I love making bouquets and flower arrangements!

Thanks for stopping by to see this one today

Good Luck!

Happy Monday! Here’s the new challenge for Double Trouble

Thing 1 wants to see mostly green this time around. Perfect for St Patrick’s day cards!

I used stamps and dies by SugarPea Designs. I’m curious what happened to that company! I never saw word that they closed or anything but I haven’t seen them in forever. They sure had cute stuff!

Thing 3 wants to see something with plaid on your card. I used stencils to lightly shade and water color a soft plaid onto my panel.

And Thing 2 has us partnering with Inspiration Station using their Inspiration photo!

I see green and nature and based my card off of that with the sweet little critters

We hope to see you play along with this challenge to start our March off green! Be sure to head to Double Trouble for all the details

Thanks for stopping by!

Set of floral Sympathy cards

Happy Saturday! I did something I haven’t done in a while – I made a card set. Usually, I just make one card and clean up. This time, I kept going and just did a few more while I was at it.

I used stamps and dies by Catherine Pooler for these. They were “Typed Up Sentiments” and “Beautiful Beginnings”

The Typed Up Sentiments has so many good images for when you want to send thoughts, prayers, hugs, etc!

I’m playing along with the Stamp Nation challenge to make a card using Floral

I was inspired to make sympathy cards because of the challenge over at Tic Tac Toe

Asc you can see, each card is just a little different – either with the arrangement of floral and/or the colors used on each one

I added Wink of Stella to the flowers on this one. If you look close, you can see it in this pic

I think of all of them, this one is my favorite though

Thank you for stopping by to check these out! See you again soon

Sending Smiles

Hello and happy Monday! We have a fun new challenge over at Double Trouble and Thing 3 is highlighting my favorite kind of cards with her twist- use floral

But first, let’s say what Thing 1 wants to see – fun folds! I did a little variation on the buckle style card

I used 2 different die cuts – both from Stampin, Up! to create this fun buckle fold

After using a small rectangle die (usually used for cutting out a sentiment) to cut a slit in the left die, the little corner of the right die tucks right in perfectly

The cute floral dies are by Spellbinders and the 3 coordinating pattern papers are from an old Stampin’ Up! stash

I added matching ribbons and some white dot accents to finish it off

What fun fold can you come up with? We’d love to see your creations! And if you make a card with a fun fold, Thing 2 has us teaming up with the Creative Creations blog. Be sure to share there too!

Thank you for stopping by to check out my card today. I’ll see you again soon!
