Retro Rubber tic tac toe

I have been itching to sit back down and get going with stamping again.  But what a busy busy Summer it has been!  And quite a fun one as well.  I had a wonderful time spending a day with my daughter at the Concord and 9th headquarters on Saturday, meeting the owners, stamping and coloring all day and having a blast!  It was for Kathy Racoosin’s Coloring Challenge Road Trip and I felt so honored to get to meet her, Kristina Werner, and Lydia (with Understand Blue).  It got me so motivated to get stamping and blogging and posting on Instagram more often!  The world of stamping is full of the most wonderful people.  Everyone the my daughter and I visited with that day were just sweet as could be and I’m so grateful for the opportunity that it was!  And for the shot in the arm that my crazy love for my stamping hobby is definitely worthwhile and part of something great.  You’ll see lots of projects using Concord and 9th products because I came home with a big haul!! (yay!!)

But for today, I’m going to share a card using products from another company that I love – Lawn Fawn! Because last week I sat down to play along with the challenge by Retro Rubber Challenge blog. I used a Lawn Fawn set that is 3 years old now (that’s my favorite thing about Retro Rubber – they challenge you to use stuff in your stash that may want to be looked at again! 😉 )  So let’s get to it!  Here is the challenge

Isn’t that fun that you can look all across that tic tac toe board and challenge yourself to create a card using the 3 elements?!  I think so!  And I chose to do the 3 across on the bottom row.  Here is my card using birds, twine and leaves!

Wasn’t that the perfect set to use for this challenge?  I had a great time with the challenge, but then again, when is it not a great time to sit down to my stamp desk?!

Have a wonderful day!

Hugs

🙂 Kellianne

  1. Love, love your sweet little birdhouses, they look so sweet with their twine bows and so beautifully colored, your sky is just the most perfect background for them.
I’m so happy you play with our challenge over at RETRO RUBBER, we do love our old stamps, we bought them for a reason and they deserve to be inked up often.
I hope you come and play next time.
    Big hugs,
    Maria Rodriguez.
