Hello everyone! A couple of weeks ago, I watched a video on the Simon Says Stamp YouTube channel. It was done by Gina K and I have wanted to sit down and try her technique since! I took some inspiration from the color challenge over at Less Is More
And I tried out the technique by Gina! (You have to go check out that video!)
Here is my card
The technique has you emboss your image in white, blend some color with ink, and then go in with some colored pencils and gamsol to add some pretty blending
It gives such a soft look! This beautiful set is by Gina K and is called “A year of flowers 2”
And the cute element in the die cut circle is from the Pink Fresh Studio Braided Circles die set
And the challenge colors worked really well for this. I love them together. I added some Spectrum Noir glitter pen to the blossoms to give some shimmer
I’m extra alert of fun coloring things right now because of the Daily Marker Color challenge going on. And this one was so much fun, I am so glad Gina shared it and I will be using it lots in the future!
If you head on over to my Instagram, you can see this card quickly come together in one of my speedy 1 minute videos!
Thanks for stopping by to visit today. I hope you are all staying safe, healthy and happy!
With extra time on our hands, it’s a great time to stamp card and send cards!
Lots of love!
:)Kellianne
This is absolutely stunning, Kellianne. It is so soft, yet bold at the same time. Your color choices are fabulous. That circle die is just so effective. I love everything about it. Thank you for sharing this beauty and playing with us at Less Is More. I am going to try this technique this afternoon!
