Hi everyone! I wanted to start out by saying thank you to Retro Rubber Challenge Blog for the top pick in their last challenge! I’m excited to be a guest designer for them in the future!

Today we start another fun challenge over at Double Trouble Challenge Blog!

For this challenge, Thing 1 wants us to make a scene! I wanted to play with the sketch challenge going on at My Favorite Things so I used that as my initial inspiration and made that front square the main space for my beachy scene

These adorable stamps come from the MFT set called “Sunny Vibes”

The fun pattern paper on that back square is also MFT and comes from the Christmas paper pack “Plaid Patterns Merry and Bright”. The colors were perfect for the colors I chose for the images!

I used Zig Clean Color markers to color everything, as well as a bit of ink blending for the sand and sea. Thing 3 wants to see a mode of transportation on your card! Isn’t that little van with the surf board propped against it so so cute?!

Thing 2 wants everyone to join up with The Paper Girls “Around the World” challenge. In my opinion, all travel should include someplace close to the beach ha ha! So this little scene could be a lot of places! But if I had to pick a top fave, I’d say the Southwest gulf of Florida.

And that’s my card that incorporates these challenges! It’s so fun to have all the different inspiration to pull a card together. Head over to my Instagram to see my video of this card coming together!
Big hugs!
🙂 Kellianne

Love your adorable scene you created and the add of the pretty panels of design papers behind using the sketch challenge. Adorable and fun card.

How sweet this is! Love your colors and how you shaded the images. I need to branch away from my Copics and get out my Zigs before they all dry up!

So cheerful, Kellianne! Excellent coloring, too. I, too, need to get out those Zig markers and start using them. Your card reminds me of 39 years spent on the Florida beaches. I agree about the Gulf Coast, having lived in both Tampa on the west and New Smyrna on the east.
