Happy Summer! School is out and I’m so looking forward to getting to stamp more. A new challenge at Double Trouble is the perfect way to kick it off!

Thing 1 says Anything Goes! I chose a Summery theme with cute little ocean creatures

Thing 3 wants to see repeats. Use one image over and over or use companion images in your sets! I chose to do 3 ocean creatures

These are by Catherine Pooler and are just so cute! I colored them with Zig Clean Color markers and put them on ac piece of vellum. The background is ombre colored using Distress Inks

I added water droplets to give an extra oceany feel, as well as sparkly sequins in blue to add to the underwater fun

Thing 2 wants you to partner up with a previous challenge partner! I chose Color Dare. They are saying to use shades of green, blue, and purple. These were perfect for what I was going for! I usually don’t reach for purple so it was extra fun to challenge myself for this

I left the card without a sentiment on purpose. This is so it can be used any time for anything! I seem to need those a lot lately so I’m planning on making more!
Thank you for stopping by to see my card today and we hope you will visit Double Trouble to play along!
🙂 Kellianne
Your blended background really creates an “oceany” feel, and I love the way you used the colors from CMHCD, super cute card!

Those ocean creatures are so cute. Terrific work with the ink blending and the vellum is a great touch to soften the entire card.

Kellianne, your underwater card is just so darn cute! Love those little sea creatures, and your distress ink background is perfect!! For your sequins, did you add something to the center to hide the hole they usually have in the center? They look like perfect bubble embellishments. I’m sure our Double Trouble participants will love your card as their inspiration!!! -Donna

Thanks Donna! I didn’t do anything special to the sequins – the little hole is still there. Maybe the lighting didn’t catch it very good. But I’m glad you like the way it turned out! 🙂
