Thanks! I needed that

The new challenge at Double Trouble starts today and it’s recipe time!

Thing 1 wants to see you use this 3-2-1 recipe

3 colors 2 layers 1 cuddly image

These sweet foxes hugging looked so cuddly to me! The 3 colors I used are from Thing 3’s dare- too create with the 3 colors from the challenge over at Color Dare. Desert Rose, peach, and sage (as close as you can get to those).

The stamps and dies I used are from MFT and the pretty embossing folder is by Spellbinders

My layout was inspired by the challenge over at MFT! I turned this sketch to be horizontal to fit my fox scene best

If you play along with the recipe and the colors that I did today, be sure to also go enter your card over at Color Dare

Thanks for stopping by and I’ll see you again soon!

Welcome Baby Girl!

Today I have a card to celebrate a new baby girl and what a sweet thing to celebrate!!

I used the Lawn Fawn Little Bundle stamps and dies for this one. I’m really going to strive to dig into my huge stash this year and use it! This sweet set hasn’t been loved on in a long time and it was so fun to use again

I’m playing along with Lawn Fawn’s challenge as well as the Crafting Happiness challenge with this card. Both challenges inspired me to make a card celebrating something!

Nothing says “new baby” quite like all the added laundry that happens when a little one arrives! This set is just perfect to go along with that

I made a Reel over on Instagram of this card coming together, so be sure to go check that out!

Hope your new year has started off great!

Prayers

I loved the color and medium combo that I used on my last card so much that I just couldn’t put it away! So I decided to make one more card with it

I just can’t get enough of how pretty the Seaspray Nuvo mousse looks with Iced Spruce Distress Oxide!

I used the set Holly Jolly as well as the mini wreath builder by Gina K to stamp some different snowflakes. I did a mixed media style for this one and I love how it turned out!

I’m entering this one in a challenge that is new to me! I found The Four Seasons challenge through another crafter’s blog and knew I wanted to play along. Their current theme is Winter and Anything Goes.

Thanks for stopping by to check it out! I have a Reel over on Instagram on it coming together so head there next to see a quick glimpse of the fun process this card was

Have a safe and Happy New Year!

Just a Snowflake note

I’m excited for the new challenge up over at Double Trouble Challenge blog!

This is a fan favorite – Something Anything Everything! So Thing 1 wants to see whatever you create. But Thing 3 wants to give the optional twist to use at least one stencil.

I used a dot stencil with some Seaspray Nuvo mousse. It goes perfectly with Iced Spruce Distress Oxide ink, which is the background color

As always, Thing 3 would like to challenge you to partner up with a previous partner. But today, we are highlighting one challenge blog in particular – Heart2Heart. They have decided to end their challenges, so this is the last one. They are going with “A few of my favorite things” as a theme. For me, snowflakes are definitely a favorite!! Both in real life as well as with stamping

The beautiful Snowflake on my card is from the Close to my Heart stamp set, “Christmas Snowflake Mandalas”. I embossed it on vellum, fussy cut it, and attached it to my blended and stenciled background

I made my card a simple “Just a Note” theme because I like to have a card to send for any occasion. This is perfect to give during winter!

We hope you will join us and show us your creations! And if you want to join Heart2Heart one last time, their challenge ends in only a couple of days, so head there to link your project quickly.

Thanks for stopping by!

Christmas tags

Hello again! Today’s project is a set of tags that I made to add to neighbor gifts. I’m playing along with the challenge over at Crafting Happiness which is to make a Christmas project!

These tags were so fun!! I used the new KatScrappiness Christmas paper, her mini slimline dies, Build a bow dies, and the Christmas foliage die set to bring these all together

Each one is a little different but they all coordinate so cute!! I’m especially loving the bow dies!!! I was having so much fun making lots of them

I have to point out how awesome the pattern paper by KatScrappiness is – its thick, shiny, and such high quality!! I love the traditional Christmas colors of this pack too.

Making these was a reminder that it is really fun and efficient to have a few specific products and colors out and then make multiple projects using just those! Similar look, but all just a bit different

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have a wonderful Christmas!

Joy Shaker card

We’ve only got “2 sleeps” ’til Christmas!!

What an exciting time of year! I have not given any time to my stamp room in a few weeks because our oldest daughter just got married. It’s been a wonderful but exhausting experience to have our 2 oldest married in less than 3 months!

So I finality took the time to sit down and create yesterday and it was so fun!!!!! I used shaker products by KatScrappiness and made this soft blue and white card

I embossed the entire front with sparkly white embossing powder, put all the pieces together, filled it with darling little blue hearts, and voila!

KatScrappiness makes such a card so easy with the products she carries for shaker cards. And the amount of shaker bits she sells is awesome!

I can not get over how cute the little bow is, too! It’s a die set called “Build a Bow” with 4 different sizes and I see myself using them a lot! In fact I’ve already got another project ready to share, using those too

Thanks for stopping by to check it out! Hope your Christmas preparations are full of joy💕

Happy Winter!

Happy Monday! I think most of us are all experiencing some colder temperatures – is feeling like winter is on its way! My card today goes right along with it too

This card is for the new challenge up at Double Trouble

Thing 1 wants to see you mix it up! Add lots of patterns and texture! I did a couple different pattern papers as well as some dry embossing

The layout is inspired by the sketch created by our challenge partner Try Stampin On Tuesday.

I used Catherine Pooler stamps and dies for my design. I love the Christmas foliage along with the snowflakes!

With a few pearl embellishments, my card was finished

But I wasn’t done! Try Stampin on Tuesday also has a twist to do some paper piecing. So i made another card using the sketch again but included the twist!

Again it goes along with the mixed patterns that Thing 1 wants to see. I also used Catherine Pooler dies on this one

I loved making both! Thanks for stopping by to see them. We hope you’ll play along!

Happy Thanksgiving mum

Today I have a mini slimline card featuring some sweet products by Kat Scrappiness. My favorite is when all the mums come out in the Fall and add beautiful Autumn colors to my porch! I wanted to make a simple, yet pretty card that featured a mum

This stamp set by KS is not actually a mum though! This is the Oopsie Daisy set and is a beautiful layering daisy. But I used the pumpkin orange color to make it look like a mum!

And that darling quilted background die – isn’t it perfection as the backdrop? I love the Kat Scrappiness mini slimline products so much. With a few embellishments and a touch of pattern paper, this Thanksgiving mum card was complete

Thanks for stopping by today! See you again soon

Warm wishes

Hello! I’m here today to share a card that I made to play along with The Coffee Lover’s Blog hop!

I’m not a coffee drinker but my whole house loves hot chocolate! So I made a little cup for a warm wishes card

That darling little cocoa cup and those tiny holy leaves and berries are die cuts by Sizzix. I put glossy accents on the berries and on the heart to give them some fun, shiny dimension

At Double Trouble, we love supporting and playing along with other challenges blogs! So the Things are up to the fun with this one too! Be sure to head there and link up your cute coffee/cocoa creation for a fun chance at some blog candy as well!

Thing 1 wants to see your coffee and cocoa creations. Thing 3 wants to see a coffee pun. I didn’t really have pun so my “warm wishes” had to do for my sentiment

I did the ombre effect on the tag using alcohol markers. All the fun dies and embellishments pulled a fun card together revolving around that one tiny cocoa cup

Thanks for stopping by! Can’t wait to see what caffeinated creations show up in the gallery!

Boot full of sunflowers

Double Trouble is back again this week with another fun challenge. Let’s see all the orange, yellow, and green!

Thing 3 has a twist that goes perfectly with those colors – use sunflowers!

I used a set by Close to My Heart for this one, and I just love how the coordinating die for the boot cuts a little slit in the top so that you can tuck the sunflower bunch in!

I was about to put a sentiment under the green bow, but I decided I kind of liked it better without a sentiment! I really like having cards on hand like that so that it can be used for any kind of note

If you make a card using these twists, be sure to also enter your card in at our challenge partner’s blog! This time around, it’s Inspiration Station. Can’t wait to see the fun cards! Thanks for stopping to see mine.
