Shiny Christmas Tree

Hello!  I want to start today’s post by thanking Try Stampin on Tuesday for picking my card as one of their top 3 for challenge 427!

My card for today is for Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.  The theme is Christmas and the challenge is to use Neat and Tangled products.  I absolutely love this funky and fun little Christmas tree that I got a few years back in a Catherine Pooler Stamp of Approval box!

I’ve always loved the minty colors with silver when people add them to their Christmas trees! But since my tree colors are traditional, I’ll make one with this pretty combo on a card!

The shimmery glitter in this pretty color is a WOW embossing powder that matches the Aquatini ink pad by Catherine Pooler and it’s soooo pretty!

I have one of my cardmaking speed-through videos for this over on my Instagram page if you’d like to see it quickly come together!  Watching the embossing powder melt is my favorite part.

I have a little secret that I’m going to share early here on my blog.  So those of you who take the time to come over here have this scoop before my Instagram followers!  I am super grateful for the love and support of this little hobby that I’m so crazy about.  So when I saw that I had hit 500 followers over on Instagram, I decided I wanted to express my thanks with a giveaway!  So if you are reading this, make sure that you visit my giveaway post that will be on Ista within a day or two.  When you comment, add 3 red hearts to your comment and I’ll add your name in the drawing twice. Blogs aren’t a big place to visit for inspiration anymore because of how easy and fabulous Instagram and  Pinterest are.  So this is just my way of saying thanks to the few who might have visited today 🙂

Big hugs and lots of inky love!
